FAQ

I. Orders & Inventory

What happens if a plant I ordered is out of stock or does not meet health standards?

Because we work with live, seasonal items, plant health and availability can fluctuate. Our nursery team performs a strict quality check right before packaging. If a plant goes out of stock due to seasonal shifts or fails to meet our health standards, we will not ship an inferior product. We will notify you via email immediately and issue a full, automatic refund.

Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it?

To ensure live plants spend as little time in transit as possible, our team begins coordinating with our fulfillment hub shortly after an order is placed. You may request modifications or cancellations within 2 hours of placement by emailing our support team. Once processing has begun, orders cannot be changed.

Where is your company located and where do items ship from?

Our corporate office and customer support team are proudly based in Georgia. To ensure maximum vitality and specialized handling, all live plants are securely packed and dispatched directly from our professional nursery logistics hub in California.

II. Shipping & Delivery

Which regions do you ship to, and are there any geographic restrictions?

We currently ship exclusively to the 48 contiguous United States. Due to strict state agricultural regulations and the long transit times required for live plants, we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or APO/FPO addresses. Additionally, please check individual product pages, as certain fruit trees or plant varieties may have specific restrictions that prevent shipping to states like California, Florida, or Arizona due to USDA quarantine guidelines.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Standard order processing takes 1–3 business days. Once dispatched from our California hub, transit times typically range from 3–7 business days, depending on your delivery zone. A tracking link will be emailed to you immediately upon shipment.

How do you package live plants safely for shipping?

We utilize custom-designed, eco-friendly packaging tailored to protect live roots and fragile foliage. Root balls are secured to retain essential moisture, and plants are cushioned to prevent shifting during transit, ensuring they arrive intact and healthy.

Do you ship during extreme weather conditions?

Yes, but plant safety is our priority. If your local region or our transit routes are experiencing extreme freeze or severe heatwaves, we may temporarily hold your shipment for a few days to protect the live root systems. We will keep you updated via email regarding any weather-related delays.

III. Returns & Guarantees

What is your 30-Day Plant Health Guarantee?

We stand behind the quality of our plants. If your plant arrives severely damaged or fails to survive within the first 7 days of delivery, please contact our support team with your order number and clear photos of the plant. Once verified, we will gladly arrange a replacement or issue a refund.

Do you accept physical returns on live plants?

Due to the perishable nature of live plants and the stress they undergo during return transit, we do not accept physical returns. If there is an issue with your order, please contact our customer support team to utilize our 30-Day Plant Health Guarantee.

Will my plant look exactly like the pictures on the product page?

The images on our website represent mature, well-established plants under ideal conditions. Since every plant is a living organism, natural variations in shape, leaf density, color, and growth stage will occur. However, all plants are guaranteed to meet the specific size or variety requirements listed on their product page.

IV. General Care Guide

How will my plants arrive, and what should I do immediately upon unboxing?

To ensure efficient transit and healthy root establishment, our fruit trees and flowering plants are shipped as professionally prepared, semi-bare-root saplings (secured with a moist root-ball wrap rather than a heavy plastic pot). Upon arrival, please unboxing immediately. Gently remove the protective wrap, inspect the roots, and submerge the root system in a bucket of water for 1–2 hours to fully rehydrate the plant before planting.

Should I plant my new bare-root tree or flower right away?

Yes, bare-root plants should be planted as soon as possible (ideally within 24 hours of delivery). You can plant them directly into your garden bed or into a temporary starter pot with fresh, well-draining soil. Do not leave the roots exposed to the air or sun. Once planted, give them a thorough, deep watering to settle the soil around the roots and eliminate air pockets.

How do I determine my USDA Growing Zone?

You can find your specific zone by entering your zip code into the official USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map. We list the recommended growing zones on each product page to help you select varieties that will thrive in your local climate.

V. Category Care: Fruit Trees

What size are your fruit tree saplings at shipment?

Our standard starter fruit tree saplings are typically around 1.5 feet (18 inches) tall when shipped. This size is professionally chosen because it minimizes shipping stress and allows the tree to establish a strong, resilient root system more rapidly in your soil.

Do your fruit trees require a pollinator partner to bear fruit?

Many of our fruit tree varieties are self-fertile and can produce fruit on their own. However, planting a compatible pollinator variety nearby will generally increase your fruit yield, sizing, and overall tree health. Please consult the specific product description for pollination details.

VI. Category Care: Flowering Plants & Perennials

How much sunlight do my new flowering plants need?

Most flowering plants require at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily to produce vibrant blooms. However, when first introducing them to your garden, provide partial shade for the first week to prevent leaf scorch while they adapt to the outdoor sun intensity.

How often should I water my flowering plants?

Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid constant light misting; deep watering encourages roots to grow downward, making the plant more drought-tolerant. Ensure the container or garden bed has excellent drainage to prevent root rot.

VII. Category Care: Succulents

What type of soil and container is best for succulents?

Succulents require a gritty, fast-draining soil mix (such as a specialized cactus/succulent mix with perlite or pumice). Always use containers with drainage holes. Standing water is the leading cause of succulent root rot.

What are the light and watering requirements for succulents?

Succulents thrive in bright, direct to bright-indirect sunlight (approx. 4–6 hours a day). Follow the "soak and dry" watering method: water the soil thoroughly until it runs out the bottom, then wait until the soil is completely dry throughout before watering again. Reduce watering significantly during winter months.
